Fall is here, and as a glowing October Harvest moon rises over your Pinellas County property, you know it’s time to head on down to Holland G. Magnum Recreation Complex for the annual Field of Screams event. On Friday, October 23rd from 6 to 9 p.m. the community will gather together for Halloween themed fun, complete with free trick-or-treating and more. For the 11th year in a row, kids of all ages who live in Seminole dress themselves in costumes both scary and cute to participate in the costume contest.
There is nothing frightful about the fun to be found in the Spook Zone. Designed to entertain the kids, the Zone is filled with bounce houses, obstacle courses and inflatable slides. A $5.00 fee will be charged for admission into the Spook Zone. When the kids are tired of bouncing and sliding, it’s time for those little ones who live in Seminole to grab their gathering bags and start the trick-or-treating. But, don’t worry moms and dads, if you crave more than candy, there is plenty of other food and beverages to purchase and enjoy. This seasonal event brings together the camaraderie of community so bring your neighbors and your friends and spend a fun evening being spookishly silly.
