Children and adults 48 inches and taller can race down the 3-story speed slide and the 214 foot corkscrew. Young children can splash around in the zero depth play area and ride side-by-side with their parents down the double slide. Strangers become good friends and good friends become fierce rivals during impromptu games of water basketball and volleyball. Grab some juice and a hot dog at Splash's Snack Bar and relax under the giant umbrellas and tents. Swim lessons and water aerobics are taught in the multipurpose pool and some courses are Silver Sneaker eligible.
The Highland Family Aquatic Center hosts special events throughout the year, like doggy-only swim days for dogs who live in Largo. The facilities are also available for rent.
