Envisioned in 1969, The Dunedin Fine Art Center provides art services to those who live in Dunedin and surrounding Florida communities. Dedicated to providing youth and adult art education through hands on classes, exhibits and workshops, the DFAC is always bustling with interesting things to see and do. Current exhibitions to stroll through include Beauty & The Beasts located in the Entel Family Gallery, Mighty Mighty in the Douglas/Whitley Gallery and All Decked Out in the Meta Brown Gallery. The onsite David L. Mason Children’s Museum provides a colorful, creative space just for kids who live in Dunedin to explore and interact hands on with art.
Inspiring artists from Pinellas County properties can sign up for classes in a variety of mediums including calligraphy, photography, stone carving, drawing, painting and more. With more than a thousand sessions of art instruction completed by professional instructors each year, the Center encourages the growth of artistic imagination in local communities. During a visit to DFAC, patrons can enjoy a quick lunch at the Palm Cafe. At the end of the visit, go to the Gallery Shop to see the beautiful souvenirs and unique gifts.
